I worked with Hamish to develop a scheme for the front garden of a Victorian terrace that required the approval of four leaseholders. The garden has some mature plants and trees, but the grass area was moss covered dirt as the north facing perspective saw very little sunlight. Hamish understood my brief for non-traditional planting and selected a range of ground cover plants and a several medium size sculptural shrubs to plant out the grass area. Choosing plants that would grow well in the shady garden. A nice touch was the large paving stones that lead to a garden seat. It has been 18 months and the plants are thriving and maturing to create a calm oasis.

We have worked with Hamish on a number of projects. Most recently he helped us to remodel our front garden, sourcing and installing a very handsome York stone path and creating a new planting scheme.
